About Khaldoun Tabari
Khaldoun Tabari is a serial entrepreneur, investor, and businessman renowned for his visionary role in the Middle Eastern real estate sector, where he has left an indelible mark with some of the region’s most iconic projects. His name is closely associated with ambition, innovation, and success in real estate and construction industries.
Tabari’s commitment to quality and excellence has earned him a reputation as one of the region’s most respected business leaders.
After graduating from the University of Colorado, Boulder, with a B.S. in Business Management and Engineering in 1973, Tabari joined his two brothers in their family business, Ranya Trading & Contracting, in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The company operated in various industries, including electro-mechanical engineering, construction materials, and wholesale and retail pharmaceuticals.
Tabari later moved to London, serving as Executive Director for Multiworld International, a company specializing in electrical materials and consumer products. The company had offices in London, UAE, and Washington, D.C. He also worked as Executive Director for the International Marketing & Development Company (INMA) in Saudi Arabia before venturing on his own.
Tabari’s entrepreneurial drive led him to establish Tathniya (TEST) Electro-Mechanical Contracting in Saudi Arabia in the mid-1980s and TEST Contracting, a civil construction business in Dubai. By dedicating long hours and a relentless work ethic, he grew his businesses from small operations into major players in real estate development and engineering, significantly contributing to shaping the Middle Eastern skyline.
Tabari also chaired Vision Investments & Holdings Inc., a privately held multi-asset holding company offering sophisticated financial solutions across MENA, GCC, Europe, and the USA.
Tabari’s knack for identifying opportunities and taking calculated risks helped propel large-scale real estate projects, from luxury hotels to commercial centers and infrastructure developments. His contributions were key in accelerating the urbanization of cities like Dubai, Doha, and Riyadh, with a focus not only on building structures but also on creating environments that foster growth, creativity, and connectivity.
